Arulmigu Thiruthani Murugan Temple

At Tiruttani, a stunning temple dedicated to Lord Muruga is perched 700 feet above sea level atop a solitary rock. The temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan and is one of the six abodes of Murugan known as Arupadaiveedu. It offers a spectacular panoramic view and is located amidst a number of hills.

The Arulmigu Thiruthani Murugan Temple is a popular pilgrimage site and is visited by thousands of devotees from all over India. It was built in the 16th century by the Vijayanagar kings.

Saptha Kanni Amman Temple

Saptha Kanni Amman Temple is dedicated to seven virgins, who are believed to have been born from the milk of Goddess Parvati. They are also known as Saptha Matha or Seven Mothers. The temple has unique architecture and it is one of the few temples where all seven virgins are enshrined together. 

The main entrance of the temple is through a five-tiered Rajagopuram. There are also two other gopurams at the temple, which are four and three-tiered respectively. The main attraction of the temple is the Saptha Matha idols, which are made of black granite and are believed to have miraculous powers.

Santhana Venugopalapuram, formerly known as Nimbaka Kshethram, is located a few kilometers south-east of Sholingar. It is an ancient village that lies on the highway leading to Tiruttani and features a temple honoring Lord Santhana Venugopalan.

Veetrirundha Perumal Temple

The Veetrirundha Perumal Temple is a Hindu temple situated near the hamlet of Veppathur in the Thiruvidaimarudur taluk. God Vishnu is honored at the temple.

The temple tank is called Sarangapani Theertham. Pancharatra Agamas are followed in the temple rituals. The Vaikhanasa Agama is also followed in some aspects of worship. The temple has six daily rituals at various times.
